Chaoyin Elementary, Dayuan Elementary, Puxin Elementary, Zhuwei Junior High and Dayuan Senior High all appear on the list published by the Taoyuan City Government.
The city government’s list of affected schools covers 202 institutions in total, including elementary, junior high, senior high and kindergartens. The table above was produced by checking each name against the addresses in the Ministry of Education’s 2024–25 school register and keeping those located in Dayuan District. The list traces where the affected oil went; it does not mean pupils have eaten it. Most of the notice period fell in the summer holiday, and the Education Bureau ordered caterers to stop using the oil entirely and to submit sourcing declarations and compliance test reports before term begins.
One further entry on the FDA national downstream list is registered in Dayuan — "Taishan North Warehouse – Hongda (Dayuan)" — but it is a logistics warehouse, not a food outlet. These lists record where oil was distributed; most businesses have already completed withdrawal, and the health department’s inspection results are the authoritative record of what was actually done.
The Taoyuan City Government has published 57 oil test results, every one of them judged compliant, with no failures. 18 of those relate to sampling sites or source manufacturers in Dayuan District, covering businesses in Nangang, Guolin, Wuquan, Dayuan and Hengfeng villages.
As of 21:00 on 24 July 2026, counting from the activation of the food-safety response on 2 July, Taoyuan had inspected 1,809 businesses cumulatively and withdrawn 492,170.173 kg of affected oil and related products.
At the anti-contaminated-oil rally on Ketagalan Boulevard on 25 July 2026, Legislative Yuan President Han Kuo-yu called on the government to address the contaminated oil case directly instead of deflecting responsibility, and pledged to move immediately on amending the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation. Organisers put attendance at more than 200,000.
