3D proportion-based lip blush in Kaohsiung: the color isn't picked—it's worked out from your natural lip color
The same color swatch will not look the same on different natural lip colors, skin tones and facial proportions. The first step in a lip blush consultation isn't picking a photo you like, but seeing clearly what your current base color is and which visual aspect you hope to improve.
3D proportion-based lip blush is not about changing bones, nor does it draw your lips from a fixed template. It means first observing the lip peaks, the center of the upper lip, the mouth corners, the fullness of the upper and lower lips and your overall facial proportions, then using color depth and gradient to adjust the visual balance. If your natural lip color is dark, purplish or uneven, a workable color direction needs to be discussed first; no color swatch can promise that the final result will be a specified color.
Postpone if your lips have wounds, inflammation, an active cold sore or if you have any health concerns. If you have a history of cold sores, please tell us proactively and consult a doctor.
Proportion-based lip blush designs visual proportions; it doesn't change tissue structure
Check whether the peaks are defined, gentle or uneven in height, then decide how much presence the edge should keep.
Central highlights and gradients affect the sense of volume; not everyone suits a very bright center.
Visual balance is adjusted through color depth, with no claim of changing actual thickness or tissue.
Lip color should be considered together with skin tone, tooth color and your usual makeup, not by picking a trendy shade for the lips in isolation.
Your natural lip color is the base: a color swatch is a direction, not a promise
| Natural condition | Consultation focus | What can't be promised in advance |
|---|---|---|
| Light, even lip color | Skin tone, everyday makeup and the brightness you want | That a chosen swatch will appear exactly as it is |
| Dark or purplish lips | Distribution of the base color, color-correction direction and the number of sessions that may be needed | Turning into a very light nude pink in one session |
| Clear difference between inner and outer lip color | Blending the gradient and handling the edges | That every area fades at exactly the same rate |
| Existing lip color or previous cosmetic tattooing | Existing pigment, position, time since treatment and current condition | That covering it directly can change it to any color |
Just done, peeling, color return, then stable: don't judge the final color on day one
The color is usually more intense than expected, and the lips may swell or feel tight depending on individual reactions. This is not the final color.
Let the surface renew naturally—don't peel or pick. Follow the aftercare instructions given at the studio for cleansing and moisturizing.
Once the surface has renewed, the color may suddenly seem very light or uneven. Allow time to watch the color return, and don't rush to add color or treat it yourself.
After a full healing cycle, check the color, evenness and whether a touch-up is needed; actual timing and results vary from person to person.
If redness, swelling, heat or pain keeps getting worse, or you notice abnormal discharge, widespread blisters or feel unwell overall, see a doctor as soon as possible.
Postpone in these situations, and ask a doctor first if needed
- Your lips currently have wounds, obvious inflammation, infection, severe cracking or an active cold sore.
- You have a history of cold sores but haven't yet asked a doctor about your personal risk and whether medical treatment is needed.
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding, blood-clotting problems, the state of diabetes control, keloids, or taking medication that may affect the procedure.
- You recently had a medical procedure related to the lips and haven't yet received advice on recovery and treatment from the original doctor.
- You want the studio to provide anesthetic or promise a painless session; local anesthetics are prescription drugs and must be handled by medical professionals according to a doctor's orders.
