How long do powder brows last?
The pigment gradually fades with skin turnover, and how long it lasts varies from person to person. It depends mainly on skin type (oily skin usually renews faster), sun exposure, care habits and how fast your skin renews, and it usually fades gradually over a period measured in years. Any claim of "guaranteed to last so many years" is unreliable; what actually happens depends on your own skin renewal.
What is the difference between powder brows and hairstroke brows? Which should I choose?
Powder brows are a soft, misty texture built from dotted color, like a sweep of brow powder; hairstroke brows are individual lines that imitate real hair growth. People who like visible hair strokes and have obvious gaps in their brows tend towards hairstroke brows; people who want overall saturation and a defined shape even without makeup tend towards powder brows. The two can also be combined. Which actually suits you depends on your brow bone, natural brow density and skin type, and can only be judged accurately in person.
Will it hurt a lot?
How people experience discomfort varies greatly, and it also depends on your physical state that day (for example, you are usually more sensitive around your period). If you feel uncomfortable during the process, you can say so at any time and we will adjust the pace. As required by regulations, we do not provide any anesthetic drugs or advice on medication.
How soon after the procedure can I wash my face, wear makeup or exercise?
Keep the area dry while it is scabbing, and avoid getting water or makeup on the treated area. We suggest waiting until the scabs have fully come off before going back to swimming, hot springs, saunas or exercise that makes you sweat heavily. The actual timing depends on the area treated that day and how you are healing; we will give you a specific number of days at the studio.
Why did the color become so light after the scabs came off? Did it fail?
This is normal for the color-return phase. When the scabs come off, the surface pigment goes with them and the color becomes noticeably lighter; over the next three to four weeks it gradually stabilizes and resurfaces with skin turnover. Only after about one month do you see the true color-retention result, which is also the time to assess a touch-up.
Is a touch-up always needed?
Most people need one touch-up about one month after the first session to fill in areas with insufficient color or symmetry. This is the normal process for cosmetic tattooing, not a sign that something went wrong. For dry skin or slower skin renewal, we may suggest waiting another one to two weeks before the touch-up.
My old tattooed brows have changed color. Can they simply be covered up?
It depends on how dark the old color is, its color cast and its position. When the old color has turned blue or red, or the shape or position is wrong, covering it directly usually doesn't hide it cleanly and also limits the design options for the new brows, so in that case we would suggest removing the pigment first. Only if the old color is already light and the shape is still usable is there a chance of adjusting it directly.
How many pigment removal sessions are needed? Will it leave a scar?
Our pigment removal does not use lasers. A dedicated remover essence is introduced so the old color fades gradually with natural skin turnover. It generally takes several sessions at least two weeks apart; the actual number depends on the type and depth of the original pigment and how fast your skin renews, and can only be assessed after seeing your current condition. Every procedure involves individual variation; if you are prone to keloids or hypertrophic scarring, please tell us first and consult a doctor.
Can brows and lips be done on the same day?
It can be arranged depending on the situation, but the healing periods of the two areas will overlap, so there will be more aftercare and more restrictions on daily life. We suggest discussing both together during the consultation and arranging the order to suit your schedule and how much recovery you can tolerate.
How do I book? How long does it take?
Please book through our LINE official account and tell us which service you would like to ask about and what times suit you. Including consultation, design, confirmation and the procedure itself, you usually need to set aside plenty of time; the actual length depends on the service, and we will tell you when you book.
