The authority processing the applications prescribed in the preceding two articles shall grant or reject the applications within one month following the day when the completed application form and the required documents are received. The municipal or county (city) police department, after granting or rejecting an application, shall inform the Agency of its decision. if the documents required in an application must be supplemented or corrected, the authority processing the application shall inform the applicant in writing of the need to submit the supplemented or corrected documents within a specified period. The period allowed for supplementing or correcting the documents is additional to the period stated in the preceding paragraph.
