Content

According to Article 27, Paragraph 1 of the WCA, an Impact Assessment Report on native flora and fauna shall be provided for the first-time import of exotic species. The report shall include the following: 1.Ecology and life history of the species, including its diet, natural habitat, reproductive rate, natural predators and local climate of its country of origin and whether there are any similar species in Taiwan; 2.Possible impact of import of the species upon native flora, fauna and ecosystems and preventative measures.
