These Regulations shall apply to the hazardous machines with the capacity as stipulated below: 1. Fixed type crane: (1) Tower crane: The jib crane installed at construction sites for lifting and moving use in construction operations. (2) Stacker crane: the stacker crane that has a lifting capacity of over 1 ton. (3) Fixed type crane other than those mentioned in the preceding two sub-items that has a lifting capacity of over 3 tons. 2. Mobile type crane: (1) Mobile type crane that is equipped with riding equipment for carrying or lifting persons. (2) Mobile type cranes other than those mentioned in the preceding subitem that have a lifting capacity of over three tons. 3. Derrick crane: The derrick crane that has a lifting capacity of over three tons. 4. Construction elevator: The elevator that is erected at the jobsite for construction activities use. 5. Construction lift: The construction lift where the height of its guide rails or elevating path is over 20 meters. 6. Hoisting cage: The hoisting cage that is used for carrying persons.
