Violators of Paragraph 1 of Article 6 regarding infringement on others' secrecy of communications shall be penalized with imprisonment of not more than five years, with a possible fine of not more than NT$1,500,000. The legal representative or service personnel of a telecommunication enterprise who takes advantage of opportunity of his business to commit the aforementioned crimes shall be penalized with imprisonment of six months to five years, with a possible fine of not more than NT$2,000,000. The inchoate violators of the first two paragraphs shall be penalized. The violator of the first paragraph shall be subject to prosecution instituted only upon complaints.
違反第六條第一項規定侵犯他人通信秘密者，處五年以下有期徒刑，得併科新臺幣一百五十萬元以下罰金。 電信事業之負責人或其服務人員利用業務上之機會，犯前項之罪者，處六月以上五年以下有期徒刑，得併科新臺幣二百萬元以下罰金。 前二項之未遂犯罰之。 犯第一項之罪者，須告訴乃論。
