這是集運客戶最該知道的條文之一：應施檢疫物（含肉類、動物產品等）輸入須申請檢疫並繳驗輸出國檢疫證明，且明文規定「不得以郵遞寄送輸入」，違者退運、沒入或銷燬。許多人想集運或郵寄肉乾、香腸、動物製品到台灣，其實一律會被攔截銷毀。
Importers or their agents of quarantine objects shall apply for quarantine prior to the arrival of such objects at ports or stations according to the provisions of Paragraph 1 of Article 32 and submit the animal quarantine certificate or other document granted by the inspection authorities of exporting countries in accordance with the requirements of Paragraph 3 of the preceding Article. However, if agreed upon by both the Republic of China and exporting countries, animal quarantine certificates may be issued electronically. Passengers or serving personnel on the vehicles, vessels, or aircraft that carry quarantine objects shall, in accordance with the provisions specified in the preceding Paragraph, apply for animal quarantine inspection upon arrival. Quarantine objects must not be imported through postal delivery. If quarantine objects are sent through postal delivery, they shall be returned, confiscated or destroyed. If an individual receives imported objects that are subject to quarantine by post, he/she shall promptly submit them to animal quarantine authorities for destruction. Quarantine objects must remain intact until quarantine procedures are completed. Without approval from animal quarantine authorities, it is prohibited to tamper with packaging, moving, or engaging in any other activities that may spread infectious animal diseases.
應施檢疫物之輸入人或其代理人，應於應施檢疫物到達依第三十二條第一項規定公告之港、站時，向輸出入動物檢疫機關申請檢疫，並依前條第三項所定準則繳驗輸出國檢疫機關發給之動物檢疫證明書或其他文件。但動物檢疫證明書經我國與輸出國雙方議定者，得以電子方式為之。 旅客或服務於車、船或航空器之人員攜帶應施檢疫物者，應於入境時依前項規定申請檢疫。 應施檢疫物不得以郵遞寄送輸入；其以郵遞寄送輸入者，應予退運、沒入或銷燬。收件人接獲郵遞寄送輸入之應施檢疫物時，應即送交輸出入動物檢疫機關銷燬。 應施檢疫物在未完成檢疫前，應維持原狀；未經輸出入動物檢疫機關核准，不得擅自破壞包裝、移動或為其他可能傳播動物傳染病之行為。
動物傳染病防治條例第34條：應施檢疫物「不得郵遞寄送輸入」的關鍵規定——集運肉品、動物產品會被退運銷毀！
不行。肉類及動物產品多屬應施檢疫物，且本條明定應施檢疫物不得以郵遞寄送輸入，違者一律退運、沒入或銷燬。集運、郵包寄送肉乾、香腸、寵物零食等都會被攔截銷毀。
須於到達指定港站時向動物檢疫機關申請檢疫，並繳驗輸出國檢疫機關發給的檢疫證明書，完成檢疫前須維持原狀、不得擅自拆封移動。
