In the event of an unsafe circumstance occurring in a Drone system with a maximum take-off weight exceeding 25 kg due to a fault, failure, or defect during use, the designer, manufacturer, modifier, or importer shall take remedial measures to address such fault, failure, or defect. The designer, manufacturer, modifier, or importer shall submit a written report (Attachment 18) to the CAA within 30 days from the date the fault, failure, or defect is discovered. However, this time limit does not apply if a justifiable reason is provided and an extension is approved by the CAA.
