The term "preparations" as used in this Act refers to veterinary drugs which are processed and compounded from raw materials into a specific pharmaceutical form and dosage. Categories of preparations shall be promulgated by the central competent authority. Preparations are classified into veterinary drugs to be prescribed by veterinarians (or veterinary assistants) and non-prescription veterinary drugs. Regarding prescription drugs specified in the preceding Paragraph, their categories, terms of purchase and sale, methods of use, information to be included on prescriptions, storage procedures, record-keeping requirements for sales, and other matters requiring compliance shall be prescribed by the central competent authority.
