Content

The competent authority as referred to in this Act shall be the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The Ministry of Economic Affairs shall set up the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (hereinafter referred to as the BSMI), which shall be responsible for the commodity inspection operations.
