HowBridge Announcements

Only things that have happened or have been decided go here: warehouse operation changes, rates and payment methods, transit times, and what can or cannot be shipped. If an announcement shows an effective date, that date applies. No announcement means nothing has changed.

Receive first, pay later: the bill is issued only after the parcel is signed for and checked by accounting; online payment issues an e-invoice automatically

HowBridge shipping bills follow receive first, pay later:

  • After the parcel arrives in Taiwan and you have signed for it, our accounting staff check the charges manually, and only when everything is correct is the bill issued.
  • The bill appears in the member system only at that point; it is normal not to see a bill in the system before you sign for the parcel.
  • The bill can be paid online directly, and after payment the system issues an e-invoice automatically.

Announcements page launched: closure calendar, rate status, transit times and shippability, all on this page from now on

From today, all HowBridge operational changes and rate information are gathered on this page, in four columns:

  • Weekly transit report: dispatch batches from the Shenzhen warehouse and their delivery status. Real data only; if there is no data, nothing is published.
  • Can I ship this?: one item at a time, whether it can be shipped, whether a permit is needed and how it is taxed, with sources from the Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance and the tariff schedule.
  • Closures and rates: receiving stops and shipping suspensions for the next 30 days, plus current rates. Any rate change is always announced in advance with its effective date; orders placed before the effective date keep the old rate.
  • Service updates: changes to payment methods, system features, verification and contact channels.

If you do not see an announcement, nothing has changed.

Current rates and closure status (2026-09-02): no receiving stop or shipping suspension has been announced

As of the date of this notice, this site has not published any receiving stop or shipping suspension notice. If operations change for a long holiday, the last receiving date and the resume date will be announced in advance in this column. Current rates for the four options are below (all ship from the Shenzhen consolidation warehouse):

MethodRateReference transit time
Sea freightFrom NT$25 per kg or NT$150 per cu ft (quoted by customer service according to the goods)7–14 days
Commercial sea expressProject quote (bulk shipments)5–10 days
Sea expressNT$50/unit5–10 days
Air freightNT$100/kg3–5 days

(2026-10 update: commercial sea express is now a project quote; sea freight is now listed with its current wording and 7–14 days.)

For sea freight, volume = length × width × height ÷ 28316; for sea express, volume = length × width × height ÷ 10000. Both are charged on the greater of actual weight and volume. Consolidation and packing are free, and the Shenzhen warehouse stores parcels free for 366 days. If the final delivery in Taiwan meets HCT Logistics' oversize criteria, the oversize fee is calculated from the packed size, weight and county/city, and can be checked instantly in the calculator; outlying-island surcharges are quoted separately. If rates change, the change will first be announced in this column with its effective date.

(Historical note; see the table above for current rates) 2026-09-29 correction: the dedicated sea freight line was changed to from NT$25/unit with a volume divisor of 28316, and sea express is now shown as NT$50/unit (volume divisor remains 10000); the earlier statement that "volumetric weight = length × width × height ÷ 10000" applied to every option has been removed.
