How Do I Pay HowBridge Shipping Fees? 10 Payment Methods at a Glance

The Short Answer

Consolidation payment methods: HowBridge shipping fees can be paid online in 10 ways, including LINE Pay, JKOPay and credit cards, with no extra payment processing fee; you can request a full refund before your parcel ships.

HowBridge currently offers 10 payment methods for shipping bills: LINE Pay (listed first), JKOPay, credit cards (VISA/Mastercard/JCB), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Taiwan Pay, E.SUN Wallet, ATM transfers (virtual accounts), and convenience store payment codes. The first six methods are credited instantly, and the bill is automatically marked as paid after a successful payment. ATM transfers and convenience store payment codes are not processed instantly; the bill is automatically updated once the payment is actually credited. Online payments are only for shipping fees and logistics service charges; we do not collect payment for merchandise. Note that web-based Apple Pay is supported only in Safari — it does not appear in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or in-app browsers; that is an Apple restriction.

LINE Pay, JKOPay and NewebPay review a merchant’s business identity and legal eligibility to operate. Their approval is not an endorsement of our service quality, rates, or shipping outcomes.

Which Payment Methods Does HowBridge Support?

Below are all payment methods currently available, shown in the same order as at checkout. All payments are settled in New Taiwan dollars. We do not charge any additional payment processing fees, so the amount shown on your bill is the amount you pay.

Payments by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Taiwan Pay, E.SUN Wallet, ATM transfer, and convenience store payment code are collected through NewebPay; LINE Pay payments are processed through the official LINE Pay channel. Mobile wallets have device requirements: web-based Apple Pay works only in Safari, Google Pay needs Android or Chrome, and Samsung Pay needs a Samsung device or Samsung Internet; on unsupported browsers the checkout simply does not show that option. JKOPay is handled directly by JKOPay under a direct merchant contract, not through NewebPay.

The combined limit for a single online payment across all methods is NT$200,000; above that, checkout will prompt you to contact customer service for help. If your bill amount is outside a method’s amount range, checkout will not show that method.

Convenience-store barcode payment and WebATM are not yet available. Please use one of the methods above for now.

Why Is LINE Pay Listed First?

LINE Pay is always listed first among the payment methods at checkout. There are 3 practical reasons for this, none of which involve different fees—we do not add a processing fee to any payment method:

No Need to Enter Your Card Number Again

After selecting LINE Pay, you will be redirected to the LINE Pay payment page and can simply confirm the payment in the LINE App. Because your card is already linked to LINE Pay, you do not need to take out the physical card and enter its number and security code at checkout.

Instant Processing and Immediate Bill Settlement

After a successful payment, LINE Pay instantly notifies our site that the payment has been received. The bill status automatically changes to “Paid,” so you do not need to report the last 5 digits of the remitting account or wait for bank reconciliation.

Most Customers in Taiwan Already Contact Us Through LINE

Our customer support primarily operates through our official LINE account. After receiving a bill notification, customers can complete payment on the same phone and in the same App without switching to another application or online banking.

Which Payment Provider Reviews Has HowBridge Passed?

Online payment collection is not enabled merely by registering. To become a merchant with LINE Pay, JKOPay or NewebPay, a business must apply as a company and pass the provider’s review. Here is our actual status, and you can verify each item yourself:

LINE Pay Merchant Account (Corporate Account)

According to LINE Pay’s official guidance, a corporate merchant applying for a merchant account must submit documents including the company’s official seals, the latest company registration amendment form or a copy of its business registration, the responsible person’s identification, a copy of the bank passbook, and a product price list. LINE Pay reviews the application, and its official guidance states that the review takes approximately 5 to 7 business days, provided no additional documents are required. The merchant account is activated only after approval. HowBridge has completed this process and actively accepts payments through LINE Pay.

JKOPay Merchant (Direct Contract)

JKOPay online collection (OnlinePay) is enabled through a direct merchant contract between HowBridge and the operator of JKOPay (街口電子支付股份有限公司), not through a third-party reseller. The merchant application requires company registration documents, the representative’s identification and settlement account details; JKOPay reviews the application and issues production credentials before the store can go live. HowBridge completed this process in September 2026 and has since processed both payments and refunds through JKOPay.

NewebPay Merchant Account (Business Account)

NewebPay payment tools must be individually activated through separate applications. After registering a merchant account, the merchant must submit an activation application for each payment tool, such as credit cards, Apple Pay, and convenience store payment codes, and each application must be reviewed by NewebPay. The officially stated review time is also approximately 5 to 7 days, after which an approval notification is sent by email. HowBridge is registered as a corporate business account, and all 8 NewebPay collection methods listed on this page were activated only after passing their respective reviews.

Company Registration (Independently Verifiable)

HowBridge is operated by “好運器資訊有限公司,” Unified Business Number 57151105. You can enter this number in the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Commerce Industrial Services Portal to independently verify the company name, registration status, and responsible person—you do not have to rely solely on our claims.

🔴 An important distinction: Payment providers review our business identity and legal eligibility to operate, confirming that we are a duly registered company legally permitted to collect payments. This does not mean that LINE Pay, JKOPay or NewebPay endorses HowBridge’s service quality, shipping rates, or delivery outcomes, nor does it constitute any transaction guarantee.

What Can Online Payments Be Used For?

Online payments on this site are only for shipping fees and related logistics service charges, including international shipping, forwarding, domestic delivery, customs declaration, and warehousing service fees.

  • We do not collect payment for merchandise—the amount you owe for purchases on Taobao, Pinduoduo, or other platforms must still be paid directly to the seller or platform. We do not handle those funds.
  • We do not pay sellers on your behalf or intervene in transaction disputes between you and a seller.
  • Import taxes can be paid through HowBridge on your behalf: for home-delivery shipments, choose “HowBridge collects and pays” on the consolidation order, and the tax amount assessed by customs will be added to your bill and paid by HowBridge for you, with a tax-payment handling fee of NT$40 per shipment (no fee when the tax is 0). The amount follows the customs assessment, and the recipient remains the taxpayer. An e-invoice is issued for the handling fee; the tax itself is a government levy collected and passed on, so no invoice is issued for it. You can also choose to have Hsinchu Logistics collect the tax on delivery instead.

This is the scope of our business: your bill only contains logistics service charges, plus the tax and handling fee if you choose tax payment through us. Taxes paid through us only appear under “My Bills” after you log in. If anyone asks you to transfer money for merchandise or taxes to a personal account or through an unofficial channel, please check with us through our official LINE account first.

How Does the Payment Process Work?

There are 5 steps from parcel dispatch to bill settlement:

1The System Generates a Shipping Bill After Dispatch

After your parcels have been received, consolidated, and dispatched from the forwarding warehouse, the system generates a shipping bill for that shipment. It includes charges such as international shipping, forwarding, and domestic delivery fees.

2Sign In and View “My Bills”

After signing in to your account, open “My Bills” to view the amount due, the number of parcels, and an itemized fee breakdown for each shipment. Review the details before paying.

3Choose a Payment Method

Select 1 of the 10 payment methods listed above at checkout. LINE Pay is listed first, then JKOPay, followed by credit cards, mobile payments, ATM transfers, and convenience store payment codes. If an option is missing, your browser or device most likely does not support it (Apple Pay, for example, only shows in Safari).

4Complete Payment Through the Selected Channel

Once selected, you will be redirected to the relevant payment page. For LINE Pay, you will be sent to the LINE Pay payment page to confirm in the LINE App. For JKOPay, you will be sent to the JKOPay payment page to confirm in the JKOPay App or scan the QR Code. Credit card and mobile payments are completed directly on the NewebPay page. For an ATM transfer, you will receive a dedicated virtual account and payment deadline. For convenience store payment, you will receive a payment code.

5The Bill Is Automatically Settled After Payment Is Credited

For instant payment methods, the payment provider immediately notifies our site after a successful payment, and the bill automatically changes to “Paid.” ATM transfers and convenience store payment codes are automatically updated after the payment is actually credited. You do not need to report the last 5 digits of the remitting account.

Can I get a refund after paying? Where does it go, and how long does it take?

HowBridge charges shipping and logistics service fees, so whether a refund is possible depends on “whether the logistics service has started”:

  • Before consolidated shipping: while the parcel is still in the warehouse and has not been shipped, you can request cancellation and a full refund of the shipping service fee paid.
  • Shipped, in transit or delivered: once the logistics service has started it cannot be stopped, so no refund is possible.
  • Operational errors on our part causing delay, loss or damage: compensation or a refund is negotiated based on the actual situation.
  • Import taxes already paid to Customs on your behalf: once paid to a government authority, they cannot be refunded by HowBridge.
  • Refunds can be full or partial. After a refund, the e-invoice originally issued is voided if fully refunded in the month of issue; for partial refunds or those spanning months, a sales allowance is issued instead.
Payment methodRefunded toTime to arrive
LINE PayBack to LINE Pay via the original routeAccording to LINE Pay, credit card limits or debit card balances are generally restored in about 7 to 10 business days, subject to the issuing bank’s processing
JKOPayBack to JKOPay via the original routePer JKOPay rules
Credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung PayRefunded to the original card through NewebPayPer issuing bank processing

Convenience store payment codeCash payment that cannot be returned via the original route; remitted to an account you designate insteadPer remitting bank processing

Please request refunds through our official LINE account or customer service; there is currently no self-service refund button for members. Returning the goods themselves to a seller such as Taobao is a separate matter; see the cross-border return and refund guide.

What if payment fails, the screen doesn’t return, or I’m worried about being charged twice?

Seeing “Payment not completed”: this attempt failed, and you can simply pay again

If the screen shows “Payment not completed, please try again or use another payment method”, this payment did not succeed. Go back to “My Bills” and click “Pay online” again, or switch to another payment method. Pressing cancel on the LINE Pay payment page takes you straight back to “My Bills”; the bill remains unpaid and nothing is charged.

Before you pay again, the system voids the old payment order

When you start a new online payment for the same bill, the system first voids the unfinished old payment order before creating a new one, so the same bill is not charged twice. Exception: a payment for which an ATM virtual account or convenience store payment code has already been issued is not voided — if you have already paid using that account or code, do not pay again another way.

Paid but the bill hasn’t updated: don’t pay again yet

When paying, wait for the page to redirect back to our site automatically and do not close the window midway. Even if the connection drops, if a payment order is still unconfirmed about 15 minutes after it was created, the system proactively queries the payment provider for the actual payment status every 10 minutes and credits it. ATM and convenience store codes naturally wait for the actual payment to arrive, and Taiwan Pay and E.SUN Wallet never redirect back to our site after payment. If your bill still hasn’t updated after a while, please contact our official LINE customer service.

Amount too large, or a payment method doesn’t appear

When a single online payment totals more than NT$200,000, checkout will ask you to contact customer service for help; if your bill amount exceeds a method’s range (for example, over NT$20,000 for convenience store codes), that method is not shown, so please use another one.

How is the invoice issued when I pay?

You fill in the invoice details when paying at checkout, and an e-invoice is issued automatically after successful payment. You can choose: paper (an e-invoice certificate copy is issued and can be downloaded from the bill page), mobile barcode, citizen digital certificate, company tax ID (triplicate) or donation. Tick “Remember my choice” to reuse it next time. The invoice item is always “consolidation service fee”; when a bill includes import taxes paid on your behalf, the invoice amount excludes the tax itself (and includes the NT$40 handling fee), and the tax itself is not included in the invoice. For full details on carriers, tax IDs and certificate copies, see How are e-invoices issued? A complete guide to tax IDs, carriers and certificate copies.

Are Online Payments Secure?

We Do Not Receive or Store Your Card Number

All payments are completed on NewebPay’s, LINE Pay’s or JKOPay’s own payment pages. Our site neither receives nor stores your full card number or the security code on the back of your card. TLS encryption is used throughout the connection.

Do Not Pay Again If You Have Paid but the Bill Has Not Yet Updated

ATM transfers and convenience store payment codes are not processed instantly and require time for the payment to be credited. If you have already paid but the bill status has not yet updated, do not make another payment. Contact our official customer support team for assistance.

Use Official Channels Only

We will not proactively add you from a personal LINE account, nor will we ask you to transfer shipping fees to a personal bank account. All online payments are initiated at our site’s checkout after you sign in and redirect you to an official LINE Pay, JKOPay or NewebPay payment page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pay HowBridge with LINE Pay?
Yes. LINE Pay is currently the first payment option at checkout, with no extra processing fee; once payment succeeds it is credited instantly and your bill is settled automatically. For payment steps, cancellation and refund times, see “Paying for consolidation with LINE Pay”.
Can I pay HowBridge with JKOPay?
Yes. JKOPay was activated through a direct contract between HowBridge and JKO Payments, became available at the website checkout on September 23, 2026, and is listed after LINE Pay, with no extra processing fee. For payment steps, failure handling and refunds, see “Paying for consolidation with JKOPay”.
Is there an extra fee for paying?
No. We do not charge any additional payment processing fee, so the amount shown on your bill is the amount you pay. All ten methods cost the same; they differ only in how fast the payment is credited and how you use them.
Can I use online payment to pay for the goods themselves or import taxes?
Not for the goods, but import taxes can be paid on your behalf. Please pay for the goods directly to the seller or shopping platform; we do not collect payment for them. For import taxes: for home-delivery shipments, choose “HowBridge collects and pays on your behalf” on the consolidation order, and once Customs assesses the tax it is added to your bill, with an additional handling fee of NT$40 per shipment (not charged if the tax is 0). Bills for simplified declarations can be paid online at checkout, but for formal customs declarations, the brokerage fee, taxes paid on your behalf and the handling fee are accepted by bank transfer only (shipping fees on the same bill can still be paid online). An invoice is issued for the handling fee; the tax itself is a government tax collected and passed through on your behalf, so no invoice is issued for it. When the total goods value is below NT$800, HowBridge collection on your behalf is not available; you can instead choose cash on delivery collection by Hsinchu Transport (HCT), which charges its own collection fee of NT$30.
Which account should I transfer to by ATM? Can I round the amount?
When you choose ATM transfer, the system issues a virtual account number dedicated to this bill. Please transfer to that account only, and the amount must exactly match the bill — virtual accounts are reconciled by matching both the amount and the account, so paying more or less will prevent automatic settlement. The payment deadline is 3 days.
Is there a limit for convenience store payment codes?
Yes. Convenience store code payments are limited to NT$20,000 per transaction, with a payment deadline of 7 days. After receiving the code, print the payment slip at a kiosk in 7-ELEVEN, FamilyMart, Hi-Life or OK Mart, then pay at the counter; your bill updates automatically once the payment is credited. If your bill exceeds the limit, please use another payment method.
Why can’t I see Apple Pay in Chrome?
Checkout only shows this option when it detects that your browser can use Apple Pay — rather than letting you pick it and fail, we hide it. This does not mean we have not enabled Apple Pay. We recommend opening your bill page in Safari on an iPhone, iPad or Mac; whether Apple Pay appears in other browsers depends on your device and system version. You can also simply choose another payment method at exactly the same cost. Likewise, Google Pay requires Android or Chrome, and Samsung Pay requires a Samsung device or the Samsung Internet browser.
After paying with Taiwan Pay or E.SUN Wallet, is it normal that the screen doesn’t return to the website?
Yes, that is normal. Taiwan Pay and E.SUN Wallet are QR code payments, and after payment they do not automatically redirect back to our site; the screen stays in the bank or wallet app. Your payment is still valid — the payment provider sends a separate payment notification to our site, and your bill status updates automatically to “Paid”. Please do not pay again; if your bill still hasn’t updated after a while, simply contact customer service for help. Also note that Taiwan Pay is limited to NT$49,999 per transaction, so this option does not appear for bills above that amount.
Does passing the LINE Pay, JKOPay and NewebPay reviews mean HowBridge’s service is guaranteed?
The reviews cover “business identity and legal eligibility to operate” — we are a registered company legally able to accept payments (HowBridge Information Co., Ltd., tax ID 57151105, which you can verify yourself in the Ministry of Economic Affairs company registration public search system). However, this does not mean that LINE Pay, JKOPay or NewebPay endorse our service quality, shipping quotes or delivery outcomes. For service details, please refer to the rates and terms published on this site.
Can I get a refund after paying the shipping fee?
It depends on whether your parcel has shipped. While the parcel is still in the warehouse and has not been shipped as a consolidated shipment, you can request cancellation and a full refund of the shipping service fee paid; logistics services that have already shipped, are in transit or have been delivered cannot be stopped, so no refund is possible. If a delay, loss or damage is caused by an operational error on our part, we will negotiate compensation or a refund based on the actual situation. Please request refunds through our official LINE account or customer service.
Where do online payment refunds go, and how long do they take?
In principle, refunds go back to the original payment channel: LINE Pay and JKOPay are refunded along the original route; credit cards and Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay are refunded to the original card through NewebPay; ATM transfers are refunded by return remittance; convenience store code payments are cash payments and cannot be returned along the original route, so they are remitted to an account you designate. Arrival time depends on each payment provider and bank; for example, LINE Pay states that credit card limits are generally restored in about 7 to 10 business days.
If I pay again after a failed payment, will I be charged twice?
When you start a new online payment for the same bill, the system first voids the unfinished old payment order and then creates a new one. The exception is a payment for which an ATM virtual account or convenience store payment code has already been issued; it will not be voided, so if you have already paid using that account or code, please do not pay again. If a payment is completed but your bill doesn’t update, the system also proactively queries the payment provider and credits it; if it still hasn’t updated after a while, please contact our official LINE customer service.
How much is HowBridge’s handling fee for paying import taxes on my behalf? Is an invoice issued?
There is an additional handling fee of NT$40 per shipment, not charged when the tax is 0. The tax amount is as assessed by Customs and is added to your bill. An invoice is issued only for the service fee portion (item: “consolidation service fee”, including this NT$40 handling fee); the tax itself is collected and passed through to the government, so no invoice is issued for it. Taxes paid on your behalf for formal customs declarations are accepted by bank transfer only, while bills for simplified declarations can be paid online at checkout.
