Data Deletion Instructions
This page describes what our site actually does
The information below reflects how our system currently works. For full details on personal data, see: Privacy Policy
Contents
1 What we keep from social login
When you register with a social account, only the following data is stored in your member profile. If you link a social account to an existing member account, we store only that platform’s user ID (for Apple, we also store the token needed to revoke our access).
- Facebook: the user ID Facebook assigns to our app (ASID), your name, your email address (if you allow it), and your profile picture URL.
- LINE: your LINE user ID, display name, profile picture URL, email address (if you allow it), and whether you have added our LINE Official Account as a friend.
- Google: your Google account ID, name (including first and last name), email address and whether it is verified, and your profile picture URL.
- Apple: your Apple user ID, name (if you allow it), email address (which may be an Apple private relay address), and the token needed to revoke our access with Apple (stored encrypted).
- TikTok: your TikTok user ID and display name. We do not store your TikTok profile picture and do not receive your TikTok email address.
- Alipay: your Alipay user ID, nickname, and profile picture URL (not stored if the URL is too long). We do not receive your Alipay email address.
- Yahoo! JAPAN: your Yahoo! JAPAN user ID, name (including first and last name), email address and whether it is verified, and your profile picture URL.
We never receive your social platform password. Facebook Login only requests the “public profile” and “email” permissions. Your mobile number is entered by you during registration; it is not obtained from any social platform.
Each time you sign in, the system also records the sign-in time, IP address, browser and device information, and sign-in method for account security.
2 Unlink a social account yourself
Open your security settings
After signing in, go to the “Security” tab in the member center.
Unlink
In the list of social accounts, choose to unlink the platform you want to remove and confirm with your member password.
Done
That platform’s user ID is deleted from your member profile immediately, and you can no longer sign in with that social account.
- So that you are not locked out, your account must keep at least one sign-in method. If a social account is your only sign-in method, set a password or link another sign-in method first.
- Unlinking deletes only that platform’s user ID. The name, email address and profile picture brought in at registration are part of your member profile and remain. To remove them as well, delete your account as described in section 3.
- If you registered with a social account and do not know your member password, you can reset it with your member email address via “Forgot password”, or contact customer service for help. If your account has no usable email address, please contact customer service via our LINE Official Account @0523tw.
3 Delete your member account
Open your security settings
After signing in, go to the “Security” tab in the member center and choose to delete your account.
Confirm it is you
Enter your member password and type “DELETE” to confirm. If you have turned on two-factor authentication, you will also need to complete verification.
Processed immediately
Once submitted, the system immediately clears your name, email address, mobile number, profile picture and all social platform user IDs (replacing them with anonymous placeholders), deactivates the account and signs you out. If the account has ever signed in with Apple, the system also tries to revoke our access with Apple.
If you cannot do this yourself (for example, you cannot sign in), contact customer service via our LINE Official Account @0523tw. We will help once we have verified your identity.
Deleting your account does not delete transaction records such as consolidation orders, bills, payments and customs declarations; accounting and customs records that must be kept under the law will be retained as required by law. System security records such as sign-in records are also not removed when you delete your account.
4 Remove our access on Facebook
On Facebook, open “Settings & privacy” → “Settings” → “Apps and websites” (names may differ between Facebook versions), find our site’s (0523.tw) app and remove it.
- If you request deletion of your data on Facebook, Facebook notifies our site. The system automatically deletes the Facebook user ID from your member profile (removing the link to your member account), also deletes your profile picture if it came from Facebook, and returns a confirmation code you can use to check the status.
- If you only remove our access without requesting data deletion, our site only records the removal and does not change your member profile.
- A request sent through Facebook does not delete your member account, your transaction records, or the name and email address in your member profile. To delete them, follow section 3.
You can also remove our access in your LINE, Google or Apple account settings. To delete the data our site keeps as well, follow sections 2 and 3.
5 Processing time
- Unlinking an account yourself, deleting your account yourself, and data deletion requests sent through Facebook are all processed automatically by the system as soon as they are received.
- Requests made through customer service are processed after we verify your identity; response and processing deadlines follow section 14 “Data Deletion Instructions” of our Privacy Policy.
- After requesting deletion through Facebook, you can check the status with the confirmation code link provided by Facebook.
