All HowBridge login options: six social logins, account linking and recovery
HowBridge (0523.tw) supports login with six social accounts — LINE, Google, Apple, Facebook, TikTok and Alipay — as well as email or phone plus password, or an email verification code. The first time you log in with a social account you must add a phone number, and each phone number can have only one account.
To log in with two methods, first log in to your existing account, then link the other social account on the “Security” tab of the member centre. The system does not merge accounts automatically just because the email address is the same.
Last updated: 2026-09-28 | Based on the HowBridge website’s login and member centre screens as of September 2026. The steps for revoking access on each platform follow the official help pages; menu names may change with updates, so the official pages prevail
What login options does HowBridge offer?
You can log in to HowBridge with six social accounts: LINE, Google, Apple, Facebook, TikTok and Alipay (login page: 0523.tw/login). You can also log in with “email or phone number + password”, or enter your email to receive a 6-digit verification code.
| Login method | What you do the first time | Will HowBridge have your email? |
|---|---|---|
| LINE | After agreeing to LINE’s authorization, add your phone number. LINE will also ask whether you want to add the HowBridge official account as a friend — that is up to you | Only if you agree to share your email on the LINE authorization screen |
| Agree to the authorization, then add your phone number | Yes (the email of your Google Account) | |
| Apple | Agree to the authorization, then add your phone number; you can choose to share or hide your email | Yes; if you choose to hide it, it is Apple’s forwarding address (see section 11) |
| Agree to the authorization, then add your phone number | Usually (when your Facebook account has an email and you agree to share it) | |
| TikTok | Agree to the authorization, then add your phone number | No. HowBridge does not receive an email address from TikTok |
| Alipay | Agree to the authorization, then add your phone number | No. HowBridge does not receive an email address from Alipay |
| Email/phone + password | Create an account on the sign-up page | Yes |
| Email verification code | Enter your registered email and log in with the 6-digit code you receive | Email only — codes cannot be sent to a phone number |
What data does each platform share with HowBridge?
With social login, HowBridge asks each platform only for the basic data needed to log in. Each platform’s authorization screen lists what will be shared, and nothing is provided until you agree.
| Platform | Data HowBridge requests | Official information |
|---|---|---|
| LINE | Display name, profile picture and LINE user ID; email is an optional item you can agree to | LINE Developers: a business must first apply for email permission before it can obtain your email |
| Name, email address and profile picture | Google Account Help: how data is shared when you sign in with Google: when you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture | |
| Apple | Name and email address (the name is provided only on the first authorization; you can choose to hide your email) | Apple Support: apps and websites can ask only for your name and email address |
| Public profile (name, profile picture, etc.) and email | The Facebook authorization screen lists what will be shared | |
| TikTok | Display name, profile picture and TikTok user ID; HowBridge does not receive your email or phone number | TikTok for Developers: the user.info.basic scope reads your profile picture and display name |
| Alipay | Alipay user ID; HowBridge does not receive your email or phone number | The Alipay authorization screen lists what will be shared |
HowBridge recognises you by the user ID each platform provides, not by your email. So if you change your email on HowBridge, your linked social logins keep working.
First social login: why do I need to enter a phone number?
The first time you log in with any social account, HowBridge takes you to an “add your phone number” screen, and your member account is created only after you complete it.
1Tap a social button on the login page
Go to 0523.tw/login, tap LINE, Google, Apple or another button, and agree to the authorization on that platform.
2Add your phone number
Choose your country code and enter your mobile number. Taiwanese numbers are checked for format; other country codes accept 8–15 digits.
3If the phone number is already registered
The screen shows “This phone number is already registered”, meaning this number already has a HowBridge account. Log in with your original method instead. If you are using LINE, the system asks you to close the window and log in with your original account; after you log in, it automatically takes you through linking LINE.
Each phone number can have only one HowBridge account. If you have forgotten how you signed up, the message “This phone number is already registered” is actually a clue — see section 7.
Two login methods for one person: how do I link them to one account?
Log in with your original method first, then link the other social account on the “Security” tab of the member centre. Once linked, both methods log in to the same account.
1Log in with your original method
For example, if you originally signed up with Google, log in with Google first.
2Open the “Security” tab in the member centre
Website: member centre → “Security” tab → “Linked social accounts” (or open 0523.tw/member?tab=security directly). App: “Me → Account security → Linked accounts”.
3Tap “Link” next to the platform you want to add
You are taken to that platform to agree to the authorization. When you return to HowBridge, the status shows “Linked”.
If you want to receive parcel notifications from the HowBridge LINE official account, there are other ways to link besides LINE login — see how to link in the LINE official account guide.
Website and app: where do I link and unlink social accounts?
| Website | App | |
|---|---|---|
| Where to go | Member centre → “Security” tab → “Linked social accounts” | “Me → Account security → Linked accounts” |
| Platforms you can link | Apple, Google, LINE, Facebook, TikTok and Alipay each have a “Link/Unlink” button | Depends on the app version; if you cannot find the platform you want, simply link it on the website |
| After linking | Website and app stay in sync; you can log in with the newly linked method on both | Same as website |
The app and website share one account, so linking on either side counts. Screens may differ after an app update; go by the app on your phone.
Signed up with Alipay or TikTok, or LINE didn’t share your email: add an email
Alipay and TikTok do not provide an email address. If you signed up with LINE but did not agree to share your email, HowBridge does not have your email either. In that case you will not receive the verification-code emails HowBridge sends.
- Forgot password only accepts an email to receive a code; without an email you cannot reset your password yourself.
- Email verification code login also sends codes only to email.
- Some billing and parcel notifications are sent by email.
Forgot which method you signed up with? Find it by elimination
The login page does not show which method you originally signed up with. Try them one at a time in this order:
1Try “Forgot password” with the email you use most
On the login page, tap “Forgot Password?” and enter your email. If it says “This email address is not registered”, HowBridge does not have this email — you may have used another address, or a social account that does not provide an email.
2Tap each social login button in turn
A social account that is already registered logs you in directly. If you are taken to the “add your phone number” screen, that social account has not been registered yet. Enter your phone number there: if you see “This phone number is already registered”, you know your account was created with a different method — do not submit; close the window and try the next one.
3Still can’t find it
Contact customer service on LINE @0523tw or via Contact Us, and give the phone number you registered with. Customer service will help you confirm your account.
Once you are back in, we recommend linking one more login method on the “Security” tab right away, so you never have to guess again.
New phone, new LINE account or new email: what should I do?
New phone (device)
No need to sign up again. Your account is tied to your social accounts and phone number, not to a device; just log in on the new phone with your usual method. App push notifications must be allowed again on the new phone — see the HowBridge app guide. If your phone number itself has changed, contact customer service for help.
Switched to a new LINE account
First unlink the old LINE account on the “Security” tab, then tap “Link” to connect the new one. If the old LINE is your only linked social account, you must link another social account before you can unlink it (see section 9). For linking to receive official account notifications, see the LINE official account guide.
Changing your email
“Security” tab → “Change email”. Members who signed up with email must enter their current password; members who signed up with a social account (while that social account is still linked) confirm with a code sent to the new email address. Social login is not affected by the change.
Rules for unlinking
You must enter your login password
Unlinking requires your HowBridge login password; accounts with two-factor authentication turned on are also asked for an email verification code (not needed on a trusted device or if you verified within the last 15 minutes). Members who signed up with a social account are first given a random password they do not know, so you need to set your own password first: members who signed up with Google or Facebook, and LINE members who shared their email, can reset it with “Forgot password”; Apple members who have not yet set a password can set one directly on the “Security” tab; members who signed up with Alipay or TikTok, and LINE members who did not share an email, must first add an email (see section 6) and then use “Forgot password”.
Keep at least one login method
Members who signed up with a social account must keep at least one social account linked; otherwise you will see “You must keep at least one login method. Please set a password or link another social account first.” To unlink your only one, link another social account first. Members who signed up with email can unlink all of them and then log in with email/phone + password.
Unlinking on HowBridge ≠ revoking on the platform
Unlinking on HowBridge only means that social account can no longer log in to your HowBridge account; the authorization record on the platform side must be removed on that platform itself — see the next section.
Revoking HowBridge’s access on each platform
To stop LINE, Google, Apple, Facebook or TikTok from sharing data with HowBridge, remove it in each platform’s settings. Before removing, make sure your HowBridge account still has another login method, or you may be locked out.
| Platform | Where to remove it | After removal |
|---|---|---|
| LINE | In the LINE app, on the Home tab tap Settings (gear icon) → “Account” → “Authorized apps” → select HowBridge → “Deauthorize” → “OK” (LINE Help Center) | To use it again later, simply log in with LINE and authorize again |
| On your Google Account’s third-party connections (linked apps) page, find HowBridge and delete the link (Google Account Help) | Google stops automatic sign-in to the service, but does not delete your data on HowBridge | |
| Apple | iPhone “Settings” → your name → “Sign in with Apple” → select HowBridge → “Delete”; on the web, go to “Sign-In & Security” → “Sign in with Apple” at account.apple.com (Apple Support) | According to Apple, if you use Sign in with Apple again later, you will sign in to the same account you used before. HowBridge has not yet tested this scenario, so set a password or link another login method before deleting; see what to do before you stop using Sign in with Apple |
| Facebook “Settings” → “Apps and websites” → remove HowBridge (Facebook Help Center) | Data you shared earlier may still be kept by HowBridge; to have it deleted, submit a separate request | |
| TikTok | In the TikTok app, tap “Profile” at the bottom → the Menu ≡ button at the top → “Settings and privacy” → “Security & permissions” → “Apps and services permissions” → select “好運器 0523.tw” → “Remove access” (TikTok Help Center) | To use it again later, simply log in with TikTok and authorize again |
| Alipay | Go to your Alipay account settings, check the authorized apps and remove HowBridge | Subject to Alipay’s rules |
To delete the HowBridge account itself, tap “Delete account” on the member centre “Security” tab, enter your login password (members who signed up with a social account should first set a password as described in section 9) and type DELETE in capital letters to confirm. This cannot be undone. For accounts that use Sign in with Apple, HowBridge also asks Apple to revoke the authorization when the account is deleted. For the steps in the app, see the app guide.
What to know about Apple’s “Hide My Email”
If you choose “Hide My Email” when using Sign in with Apple, HowBridge receives an Apple-generated @privaterelay.appleid.com forwarding address, and Apple forwards mail sent to that address to your personal inbox. If verification codes or notification emails are not arriving, see troubleshooting HowBridge emails with Apple’s Hide My Email for how to check and how to change your HowBridge email to the address you use every day.
