Consolidation Tracking Status: How HowBridge Merges Logistics, Customs and Home Delivery into One Timeline

Last updated: 2026-09-24 | Status names and update frequency reflect the current HowBridge system; transit times are from HowBridge statistics for 2026-07-01 to 08-31

Quick answer: where do I check consolidation tracking?

With HowBridge you don't need to check three websites to track a consolidated shipment: the system syncs logistics tracking about every 2 hours and checks customs clearance progress every 4 hours, merging both into one timeline.

After logging in, go to Ship Center → the "Transit" tab. Each shipment lists its Sub Bill number, HCT No. (if any), current tracking status and the estimated number of working days until customs clearance is complete. The number in the card title is the house bill of lading number (分提單號碼) used by Customs. Tap "Details" to see the full history. Below, we explain every term that appears on that screen.

Which three data sources does a consolidation order pass through?

From the moment a shipment leaves our Shenzhen warehouse until it reaches you, its status is actually spread across three different systems. What HowBridge does is put these three sets of data into one timeline, sorted by event time:

① Tracking data from our partner logistics provider

Covers weighing and dispatch at the Shenzhen warehouse, the sea or air leg, and the pickup, out-for-delivery and signed-for events reported back by Taiwan's home delivery companies. HowBridge pulls this data in scheduled batches through the tracking interface provided by our partner logistics provider.

  • Update frequency: roughly one round every 2 hours
  • Taiwan-leg events are relayed by the logistics provider and may appear a few hours later than on the delivery company's official website
  • Simplified Chinese descriptions from the China side are automatically converted to Traditional Chinese

② GC329 on the Customs-Port-Trade Single Window (關港貿單一窗口) (customs clearance progress)

The "Import Simplified Goods Full-Process Status Inquiry" (進口簡易貨物動態全流程查詢) of the Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance (財政部關務署). HowBridge queries it with each shipment's house bill of lading number and records five stages: arrival, declaration filing, duty assessment, release and leaving the warehouse.

  • Update frequency: roughly one round every 4 hours
  • Times are based on the event times returned by GC329
  • When customs events are available, the result follows the customs times and hides vague events that the logistics provider fills in by batch, such as "Customs clearance in progress" (清關中) and "Cargo cleared, awaiting sorting at the depot" (貨物已清出,待站所理貨), so the two sources don't contradict each other

③ Last-mile delivery in Taiwan (home delivery or convenience store)

After release and leaving the warehouse, the goods are handed to a Taiwanese home delivery company or to convenience-store store-to-store delivery. Events for this leg currently come in mainly as relayed by our partner logistics provider; HowBridge is not directly connected to the delivery companies' tracking systems.

  • If the relayed data doesn't match what actually happened, customer service can check manually with the delivery company
  • Last-mile results that have been manually verified and recorded are shown in preference to relayed data

💡 Why merge them? Because the Customs Administration itself has said that people cannot get clearance progress by asking Customs with an order number or consolidation order number (see section 9 below). Each of the three systems only sees its own leg; only by merging them can you see the whole journey.

Tracking status table: what each of the 9 statuses on screen means

The names below are the tracking texts that appear on the HowBridge screen (taken from actual system data; the Chinese in brackets is the original wording shown on screen), listed in the order a shipment normally goes through them:

StatusWhich legWhat it meansWhat you need to do
Shipped (發貨)Shenzhen warehouseThe Shenzhen warehouse has weighed and dispatched the shipment; it is usually waiting for a sailing.Nothing; at this point the customs clearance stages are usually still empty.
In transit (在途)Transport / customs clearanceOn the way by sea or air, data already sent to Customs, or clearance in progress. This is the status that lasts the longest.Check the "five customs clearance stages" on the same page to see which step it has reached; if the EZ WAY (易利委) app has a pending authorization or declaration confirmation, follow the instructions to complete it.
Picked up by courier (攬件)Taiwan home deliveryAfter release and leaving the warehouse, the Taiwanese delivery company has received the goods and is sorting them at its depot.Nothing; wait for delivery.
Out for delivery (派件)Taiwan home deliveryIn transfer, arrived at the delivery depot, or the driver is out delivering.Watch for the courier's call and keep your phone reachable.
Signed for (簽收) (final)Taiwan home deliveryDelivered and signed for.If no one at home received it, see the FAQ below: "Shows signed for but not received".
Awaiting pickup (待取件)Convenience storeDelivered to the convenience store you chose and waiting for you to pick it up.Pick it up at the store, and note the store's holding period.
Collected (已取件) (final)Convenience storePicked up at the convenience store.Done.
Exception (疑難)Any legThe logistics provider has flagged it as abnormal and it needs manual handling (e.g. a problem with the address or contact details, or a failed delivery).Contact customer service and make sure the recipient address and phone number are correct.
Returned (退回) (final)Any legThe parcel has been returned and will not be delivered further.Contact customer service to find out why it was returned and what happens next.

💡 Once one of the three statuses marked "final" (Signed for, Collected, Returned) appears, the system stops querying the logistics provider for that order. Status codes in the developer API differ by source; refer to the shipment tracking API documentation.

How often does it update? How the system tidies your tracking

Logistics tracking is synced about every 2 hours, and customs clearance progress is checked about every 4 hours. Besides pulling data on schedule, the system also does the following so the timeline doesn't contradict itself:

1Tracking starts as soon as the customs data exists

No need to wait for the bill. As soon as the customs declaration data contains a waybill number, the system adds the order to the tracking queries.

2Simplified Chinese converted automatically

Event descriptions returned from the China leg are mostly in Simplified Chinese; they are converted to Traditional Chinese before being written into the timeline.

3Status never goes backwards

Upstream systems occasionally push a later, lower-level event after "Signed for". The system treats the latest final status as the current one, so progress won't slip from "Signed for" back to "In transit".

4Repetitive events with no new information are filtered

For 7-11 store-to-store delivery, until the parcel reaches the store, the same event "Delivery number obtained, vendor ready to ship" (取得配送編號 廠商已準備出貨) is returned every day; such repeated events are filtered out automatically.

5Queries stop at a final status

After Signed for, Collected or Returned, the order is no longer queried again, and the timeline stays fixed at the last event.

6Automatically closed after signing

When the tracking status becomes "Signed for", the corresponding consolidation parcel is automatically marked "Completed" and moved to history.

⏱️ Because updates run in scheduled batches, the delivery company's official website sometimes shows a new event a few hours before HowBridge does. This is a normal time lag and does not mean the data is wrong.

How do I read the five customs clearance stages?

When tracking sits at "In transit", these five stages show the real progress. The names and order come from the HowBridge system, and the data source is GC329 on the Customs-Port-Trade Single Window (關港貿單一窗口):

OrderStage nameMeaning
1Vessel/Aircraft arrived (船(機)抵達)The ship or aircraft carrying the goods has arrived in Taiwan.
2Declaration file received (連線收單建檔)Customs has received and filed the simplified declaration data for this shipment.
3Duty assessed (計稅)Customs calculates duties and taxes. Not every shipment shows a time for this stage.
4Customs released (海關放行)Clearance is complete and the goods can leave the warehouse. The first time a release is detected, HowBridge notifies you proactively.
5Out of warehouse (出倉)The goods have left the customs-supervised warehouse and been handed over for last-mile delivery in Taiwan.

For the regulations and clearance methods behind each stage, see How long does customs clearance take? A full guide to clearance times in Taiwan.

Measured transit times: how many days from dispatch to delivery?

All figures below come from HowBridge's own operating statistics, for the period 2026-07-01 to 08-31 (generated 2026-09-17, test accounts excluded), covering sea express shipments (air shipments are not included):

LegSample sizeMeasured result
Dispatch in China (billing date) → signed for in Taiwan601 shipmentsMedian 6 days, P90 9 days; 72.2% within 7 days, 94.3% within 10 days, 100% within 14 days
Declaration filed → customs released556 records97.5% within 24 hours, 98.6% within 48 hours, 99.3% within 72 hours
Customs released → out of warehouse556 recordsMedian 22.7 hours; 51.8% within 24 hours, 71.8% within 48 hours, 80.4% within 72 hours

When will I be notified?

No need to keep refreshing. HowBridge notifies you proactively at these two points:

When customs releases the goods

The first time the system finds your goods at "Customs released", it sends a customs release notification.

When the parcel is signed for

When tracking becomes "Signed for" and the parcel is marked completed, you'll be notified that it has been delivered.

📲 Notifications are sent through only one channel, in the order App → LINE Official Account → Email, so you don't get the same message three times. To receive notifications on LINE, first link the HowBridge LINE Official Account.

What should I do when tracking is stuck?

First work out which leg it is stuck in, then decide whether to contact customer service. Check in this order:

1See how far the five customs clearance stages have progressed

If tracking is at "In transit" but clearance hasn't yet shown "Customs released", it is still at sea or in clearance, and this leg can show "In transit" for several days. The measured P90 from dispatch to delivery is 9 days, which you can use as a reference line.

2Check whether EZ WAY (易利委) has anything pending

If the EZ WAY (易利委) app has an authorization or declaration notice waiting for confirmation, reply as soon as possible. According to the Customs Administration's explanation, shipments that require advance confirmation of authorization cannot be declared for import if you don't reply, or reply that the declaration doesn't match, because the authorized declaration hasn't been completed. For how real-name verification and authorization work, see HCT Logistics and home delivery after customs clearance.

3Released but no delivery events yet

The measured median from release to leaving the warehouse is 22.7 hours; add the time lag of events relayed by the logistics provider, and it's common to only see delivery events the day after release.

4"Exception" or "Returned" appears

Both need manual handling. Contact customer service directly, and first check that the recipient address and phone number are correct.

5Still no movement after the reference time

Contact customer service with your Sub Bill number or HCT No. Customer service can check manually with our partner logistics provider or the delivery company.

Can I check the official websites myself?

Yes, but each website only sees its own leg, and you need to use the right number:

Customs clearance: GC329 on the Customs-Port-Trade Single Window (關港貿單一窗口)

Search with the house bill of lading number, choosing sea or air according to the actual mode of transport (HowBridge ships both by sea and by air, so if nothing comes up, try the other mode). A Ministry of Finance statement of 2020-01-17 notes that people often ask about clearance using purchase order numbers or consolidation order numbers, but these "are not matters to be declared on the import declaration", so Customs can hardly search with them; you should ask your consolidator for the master and house bill of lading numbers. HowBridge members can see this number after the 📦 in the card title on the Ship Center "Transit" tab (it appears only after the customs declaration data has been created). Note: the number labelled "Sub Bill" on screen is a logistics number, not the house bill of lading number, and GC329 won't find anything with it.

Taiwan home delivery: the delivery company's official website

Taking HCT Logistics (新竹物流) as an example, its website requires a 10-digit shipment number, and only shipments it delivers can be tracked. If the HowBridge "Transit" tab shows an HCT No., you can use it directly.

China-leg couriers: each platform and courier company

For how to track the Chinese courier number before the seller's parcel reaches the Shenzhen warehouse, see the complete consolidation parcel tracking guide; we won't repeat it here.

👩‍💻 If you run an e-commerce platform or are a developer and want to show HowBridge tracking in your own system, see the shipment tracking API documentation.

Frequently asked questions

How often is consolidation tracking updated?
HowBridge syncs tracking with our partner logistics provider about every 2 hours and checks customs clearance progress on GC329 of the Customs-Port-Trade Single Window about every 4 hours. Once tracking reaches one of the three final statuses — Signed for, Collected or Returned — it stops updating.
Tracking has shown "In transit" (在途) for several days without moving. Is that normal?
Usually yes. "In transit" covers the sea voyage, data transmission to Customs and customs clearance, so it naturally lasts longer; check the five customs clearance stages on the same page to see which step it has reached. In HowBridge's July–August 2026 measurements, the median from dispatch to delivery was 6 days and the P90 was 9 days (601 shipments), but this is a statistic, not a guarantee.
Why can't I find my shipment on the customs website with my consolidation order number?
Because consolidation order numbers and order numbers are the operator's or platform's own references, not items declared on the import declaration. The Ministry of Finance statement of 2020-01-17 also says Customs can hardly search with them, and that you should search on the Customs-Port-Trade Single Window with the master and house bill of lading numbers instead. HowBridge members can see the house bill of lading number in the "Transit" card title (the one labelled "Sub Bill" is not it).
What does the "Exception" (疑難) status mean?
It means the logistics provider has flagged the shipment as abnormal and it needs manual handling. Common causes are problems with the address or contact details, or a failed delivery. Please contact customer service, and first check that the recipient address and phone number are correct.
Tracking shows "Signed for" (簽收), but I haven't received the parcel?
First ask people you live with, the building management office or security whether they received it on your behalf, then check that the recipient address is correct. If you still can't find it, contact customer service, who can check the signature record with the delivery company.
Why does the HCT Logistics website show a new status earlier than HowBridge?
HowBridge's Taiwan-leg events are relayed by our partner logistics provider and synced in batches about every 2 hours, so the delivery company's website occasionally shows a new event a few hours earlier. It's just a time lag; the event will be filled in after the next sync.
How do I read tracking for convenience-store pickup?
"Awaiting pickup" means it has arrived at the store you chose and is waiting for you; "Collected" means it's done and is a final status. For convenience-store pickup specifications and setup, see convenience-store pickup for consolidated parcels.
Will I be notified when my goods arrive?
Yes. When customs releases the goods and when the parcel is signed for, HowBridge notifies you through one of these channels, in the order App → LINE Official Account → Email. Notifications between 22:00 and 08:00 are held until the morning. To get notifications on LINE, first link the HowBridge LINE Official Account.

⚠️ This article explains how the HowBridge system presents tracking; update frequency and status names are subject to the current system. Transit times are HowBridge statistics for 2026-07-01 to 08-31 and are not a guaranteed delivery time for any individual shipment. For customs clearance progress, the result on GC329 on the Customs-Port-Trade Single Window prevails.
