I received an EZWay push notification but the declared amount or item name doesn't match. Will tapping "Declaration Mismatch" affect future customs clearance?

From March 1, 2026, personal express imports under simplified declaration that use EZ Way online authorization are subject to advance authorization confirmation. If the item name, price, quantity, or other details are incorrect, select “申報不符” (“Declaration Mismatch”), contact the customs broker shown in the app, ask the broker to correct and resend the declaration, and confirm only after the corrected data appears. Selecting mismatch is not itself a penalty; however, filing or clearance may pause until the corrected authorization is confirmed. If you did not make the purchase, first rule out a family member or purchasing agent, then report suspected impersonation as instructed by Customs. Any false-declaration liability is determined case by case by Customs under the applicable law.
