1. Why do people forget EZWay passwords?

EZWay passwords usually require 8-20 characters with letters and numbers. Many shoppers only use the app a few times per year, so passwords are easily forgotten.

First check whether the registered ID number and phone number still work. If SMS works, use the in-app reset. If the phone number changed, use manual support.

In-app forgot password with SMS

Recommended 2-3 minutes SMS required

This is the easiest method if the registered phone number still receives SMS.

  1. Open EZWay and tap forgot password or reset password on the login page.
  2. Enter the registered ID number and phone number.
  3. Receive the 6-digit SMS code and enter it before it expires.
  4. Set a new password and save it in a password manager.

If no SMS arrives, check blocked messages and wait until the app allows resend.

Manual customer support

For phone changes 1-3 business days ID details needed

If the registered phone is no longer available, contact EZWay support yourself.

Deleting the app does not delete the customs-side account. Re-registering with the same ID may trigger duplicate-ID or verification problems.

After resetting the password, check pending declarations and real-name status.
